Niles Westside Church – June 24, 2023, 2nd service: “Sight Paradox” by Pastor Alex Rybachek

The mission of Jesus is that He came to set the captives free and to give sight to the blind. However, those who do have sight become blind, like a person who watches the sunlight or the welding arch. It’s a paradox we cannot explain. Those who really suffer, like the blind man from John 9, have a different perspective on Jesus. They need Jesus 24/7 and they call Him Messiah, the Savior. But those who have all they want in this life, like the Pharisees, feel that Jesus is their enemy – they think Jesus came to destroy their peace. I wonder what group I belong to… Where do you belong?
