When Jesus was on the Cross, He saw who was behind the people crying, “Crucify Him, Crucify Him!” He saw people completely confused by the devil, and His last appeals were for His own enemies, that His Father would forgive them for what they were doing. Why did Jesus pray for His own enemies? Because He loved them. And if you would take time and look into that crowd at the Calvary, you would be able to see yourself there in the crowd too. But do not worry, Jesus prayed for you there as well.
